Hi, I’m Cam—artist, animal lover, treasure hunter, business owner, and now, Captain Cam!
My creative story began in sixth grade at my family’s nail salon, where I became the unofficial “polish and design girl.” Yes, my mother may have had some explaining to do about child labor laws—but technically, I was giving away free nail art! That is where I first discovered my love for creating tiny, intricate designs by hand.
Since then, I have never stopped creating—or learning. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant, licensed esthetician and nail technician, ServSafe Certified Food Protection Manager, jet ski rental business owner, and captain. My interests may be all over the map, but they share one thing: I love learning new skills, working with my hands, and turning ideas into something real.
Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Florida in 2010 and traded city life for sunshine, saltwater, animals, and the laid-back Southern lifestyle. Let’s just say the Jersey girl went coastal—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
My love for the ocean follows me wherever I travel. Every seashell offered in my store is personally hand-selected by me for its beauty, character, and uniqueness. Many are found during my beach adventures throughout the United States and other countries. The shells I don’t personally find are responsibly and ethically sourced from trusted suppliers. Whether displayed in their natural form or transformed into one-of-a-kind jewelry, every shell is chosen with purpose—and every one has a story.
When I’m not creating, caring for animals, hunting for coastal treasures, or running my businesses, you can usually find me near the water. I will soon be offering boat tours as Captain Cam, sharing the wildlife, hidden beauty, and unforgettable experiences of Southwest Florida with others.
I believe God creates the most beautiful materials, and I’m simply blessed to give some of them a new purpose. Everything I make and select comes with care, creativity, and a little piece of my heart.
